Here is where the standards of player behaviour will be established. Break these rules, and you'll face a game ban. We work on a three strikes system. Below, we explain what each offense is, and what the penalty will be.

Spamming
What is it? - When you make one or more off-topic posts, or make several short posts in a row. What will we do? - We will give you a warning the first two times. A gm/admin may choose to give you a level 2 warning, which counts as 2 warnings. On the third offense, you will be banned.

Flaming
What is it? - Making a comment to intentionally hurt or harass someone.
What will we do? - We will give you a warning the first two times. A gm/admin may choose to give you a level 2 warning, which counts as 2 warnings. On the third offense, you will be banned.

Trolling
What is it? - Making a comment to deliberately start an argument/fight.
What will we do? - We will give you a warning the first two times. A gm/admin may choose to give you a level 2 warning, which counts as 2 warnings. On the third offense, you will be banned.

God-Moding
What is it? - Changing events in a roleplay that are beyond your control. Examples include: roleplaying guards for a ruler, saying you have a hidden weapon when you never established it previously, saying you kill anyone pc or npc without a gm confirming it.
What will we do? - We will give you a warning the first two times. A gm/admin may choose to give you a level 2 warning, which counts as 2 warnings. On the third offense, you will be banned.

Meta Gaming
What is it? - Using out of character information in character. It'll happen to a certain extent, but holding vendettas against a person IC for OOC reasons is intolerable.
What will we do? - Usually this will fall under another offense for punishment. Usually flaming.

Racial, Sexist, or Religious Slurs
What is it? - Making a rude comment about someone based on their race, gender, or religion.
What will we do? - For this offense, we skip strike 1 always. In fact, you will more than likely be banned on the spot, no questions asked. The staff will not tolerate this.

Sexual Harassment
What is it? - Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
What will we do? - More than likely, strike one will be skipped. We do not want to deal with this kind of behavior, so a ban may come easily.

Expectations
The following are guidelines for your behavior:
-Please keep religious and political debate in private. Seriously.
-Treat everyone like a human being. It's not fun if anyone isn't having fun.
-Do not make accusations without thorough proof. Also, things of this nature are best handled in private with an admin.
-Do not be afraid to step forward if someone is harassing you. The staff will take action if you have proof.
-Keep all avatars under 80x80 pixels and 10 kb.
-Try to use the best spelling and grammar possible. This isn't mandatory, but it makes life easier for everyone. If you're a bad speller, maybe typing your posts in a word processor first will help out.

Everyone will be held to these rules, reguardless of position. Even the admins must obey these rules, or they, too, can face banning.

Any members who become inactive and do not give me or another admin notice as to WHY you are inactive I will delete your account. You are welcome to sign up again later on if you want, and you will not be banned if this does occur.
