Catch a Falling Star___

Species

Dwarf

Dwarfs of both sexes are normally short and burlesque looking, while very human in every other appearance their hardy build makes them far more durable. They live in mountain sides for the most parts, digging out colonies, but will also build cities just outside in order to keep up trade with other civilizations. The typical dwarf life span is about 80 - 90 years.
Elf

The species most easily integrated with humans. Normally tall, and slightly willowy looking Elves have an incredibly long lifespan, lasting upwards of 150-200 years. Both their hair and eyes are normally on the lighter scale of colors.
Fai

Fai never really grow much bigger then a foot or two, and their wings are seemingly non-physical. Normally just a glimpse of light flickering behidn the body as they propell along on the winds. They're life span is unknown, and typically, so is their age.Just as that knowledge is limited to us, so is their knowledge of the world outside of their small colonies.
Angel

Angels are incredibly uncommon among any species. Occassionally one is born to two humans, but that is next to never. They tend to sport two long white or black colored feathered wings. Otherwise, they appear entirely human. There have only been a few known in all time, and the world has yet to live long enough to see one die of natural causes. The oldest is currenly 350 years old.
Demon

As uncommon as angels, Demon's exist in the shadows of the world. They're appearance can vary from having horns, to wings, or even both. Depending on how they care for themselves, also changes their appearance. Just as angels have yet to be witnessed in a natural death, demon's too are an unknown life span. The oldest known is 300.
Centaur (Deer fall into this catagory also)

Centaurs are the creatures that have the body of a horse and the torso of man (and sometimes a woman). They have a short life span, of 50 years, but they have been known to outlive it if with the right lifestyle. Just as the horse varies in appearance, so does a centaur.
Human

Humans range in size depending on their genetics. As well as in appearance. They have a decent life span, some having been known to live 100 years.
Mermaid

Mermaids are more commonly female, though males have been seen and recorded. Where the legs of a human would be, is a long scaled fish tail, that normally varies by different types of fish in the waters. The upper half of the body, is that of a human, though with oddly shaped ears. They have a lifespan of about 90 years
