Lets start with the rules around how the magik is dished out.

Typically, a person is only able to control -one- element of magic. There are a few beings that have natural talent for elements, and as such, can have another element they specialize in. All are able to -learn- over time, others... this is a list to explain elements, how they can be used, how they can't be used, what species can naturally use them, and those that just plain cant...

Each person is allowed -ONE- element and one element alone

If you have a creature with a natural element, you can chose to expand on that, or have very minor ability with it if you want a different element.

EVERYONE knows -basic- healing. Such as taking care of a scratch. Well, at least, they were taught it. Whether or not they can actually -do- it is another story.

LORDS- We each get -two- elements, and two elements alone. You can have mastered, one, of these. The other you should be learning and are decent at using it.

Bloodlines- If your a half breed. Say

Mermaid/Elf

You have the natural of one or the other, not both, and please indicate so. After that, the rules apply as to a human unless you have a mix, where both species cannot use the same element.

-NO MORTAL CREATURE CAN RESSURECT-



Now, you can chose your magik remember to keep it according to your characters species! ^_^ This section is fairly simple. It lists what species can use which spell, and the kinds of spells used. Also, the limitations to the type of Magik.
Keep in mind, that species listed as able to use an element have a natural inclination from birth. If your species is not listed under the CANT section, they can learn the element over time.



Wind-
                Species that CAN use Wind are: Dragons, (flying creatuers)
                Species that CANT use Wind are: Feline Lycanthrope, Halfling

Water-
                Species that CAN use Water are: Mermaids
                Species that CANT use Water are: Sprites, Fai

Earth-
                Species that CAN use Earth are: Centaur, Dwarf
                Species that CANT use Earth are: Mermaids, (water based)

-plant life-
Centaur's utilize this. Users who specialize in plant life, can cause vines to come out from any plant, or ground, and bind or attack the enemy.

-ground-
Dwarves specialize in this. One who uses this, can cause mounds of earth to raise up, and form as they like. Many can seperate it out, and toss large boulders.

Fire-
                Species that CAN use Fire are: Dragon Lycanthrope, Lizard Lycanthrope, Fox Lycanthrope
                Species that CANT use Fire are: Mermaid

Another mouldable element, fire can be used in a variety of ways. As it is not a solid mass, it cannot be used like a sheild, only as a deterant if whats coming at the caster is something that dislikes being roasted alive.


Light-
                Species that CAN use Light are: Sprite, Fai, Angel
                Species that CANT use Light are: Mermaid
There isn't much to be done with electricity. As its a wild form of energy, one can form it into balls which they toss, shoot it out from a rod, weapon, or hands, or cause it to rain down from the sky (or out of the ground if you want to be scientific about it)


Shadow-
                Species that CAN use Shadow are: Demon
                Species that CANT use Shadow are: Angel, Fai, Sprite, Elf

Most users, only know enough to hide themselves, and travel using the shadow.
Advanced users, find ways to draw the shadow and utilize it in battle



Healing-
                Species that CAN use Healing are: Human, Elf
                Species that CANT use Healing are: Demon

All creatures that chose can learn healing magics. These are unspoken spells that they learn, that deplete from their own energy in order to heal. Ability can range from healing scratches, to ressurection.

Limit to the ability, all depends on the user, and how long they have been training. (If you've only been practicing three years, you probably ARENT going to be able to heal a nearly fatal wound.)


Status effects-
                Species that CAN use Status are: Fai, Sprite
                Species that CANT use Status are: N/A

Spoken spells (psychic). These spells are mind tricks. The more mentally developed a being is (in comparison to the caster) the harder it will be to cast against them.

Hallucenations (Illusion)
Sleep
Fatigue
